How It Works

On October 23rd three teams will participate in Tekakwitha Games and compete in a series of competitions and contests to win the Saint Kateri Cup.

So how does it work?

The Teams

During registration, each person will select a team.
Each team has its own virtues, colors, and traditions. You will pick the one that speaks to your spirit.

Make sure to register early, to get the team you want!
The registration fee for the 2016 games is $35.00.

Game Day

Upon arrival, participants will join their team for a pep rally, then march to the Opening Ceremonies.
Participants will then compete in various physical, intellectual, and spiritual events to earn points for their team.

The team that earns the most points will have the best seed in the Lily of the Mohawk Relay. The winner of the Mohawk Relay wins the Games.

Awards Ceremony

When the champion is crowned, participants, volunteers, and spectators will celebrate at the awards ceremony.

Event Date
The Tekakwitha Games will be held at Camp Kateri on Sunday, October 23rd (1-5 pm)

Parking
The doors open at 11:45am, with the event getting under way at 1 pm. Please allow 30 minutes to park and make your way to your team.

Check-In
Upon arrival, go to the registration booth to pick up your packet and team t-shirt. Our staff will direct you to your team.

Match your team colors
Is comfortable and conducive to freely moving throughout the competition (or can be easily removed)

Helpful Hints

There is no bag check. We suggest coming to the Games with what you expect to wear and carry all day.
Vendors will be selling snacks and merchandise throughout the event and at the celebration following the awards ceremony. Free water will be provided throughout the event.
